Lillian Ray

Lillian Marie Ozelie Ray was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior on February 4, 2014 following a long illness.  She was born April 8, 1950 in Gary, IN.  She believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Cumberland Church of God, Cumberland, KY.  She was a 1968 graduate of Wheeler High School, Valporaiso, IN and also a graduate of Southeast Community College, Cumberland, KY.

Lillian was preceded in death by her Mother, Margaret Milkeski Ozeilie; Father, Ralph Paul Ozelie; and Grandmother, Lillian Mileski.

She leaves behind her Husband, Glen Ray; Son, Michael (Kimberly) Ray; Daughter, Glenda Ray Smith and fiancé Jacob Doyle; Grandchildren:  Chantelle (Josh) Vance, Xavier Rutledge, Amber Ray, Jeremy Smith, and Ambrianna Smith; and Great-Grandson:  Andrew Vance.  Also left to mourn her passing are a special Uncle:  Walter “Bill” Mileski and her special blessing, Sampson, her Golden Retriever.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home in Harlan, KY.

Funeral Services will be Friday, February 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Cumberland Church of God with the Reverends Ronnie Doyle and Darlene Roberts officiating.

Interment will follow the funeral in the Cornett Family Cemetery at Hiram.  Josh Vance, Phillip Sergent, Steve Sergent, Tim Carruba, Greg Adams, and Sammy Clark will serve as Pall Bearers.
