Lester W. “Mutt” Farley, 85 of Keith was called Home by his Savior Jesus Christ on March 16, 2016 with his family by his side.
He was a devoted husband, dad, grandfather, and great grandfather. Mutt was born August 5, 1930 to the late Oma and McKinley Farley. He was an over the road truck driver for McDuffy Trucking Co., he also was a coal truck driver.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna C. Farley.
He is survived by 1 brother, Paul Farley; 1 sister, Mary Daughtery; 3 children, Lester B. (Rene) Farley, Wade C. (JoAnn) Farley, and Cathy (Terry) Ryan; 8 grandchildren, Bruce (Miranda) Farley, Hope (Jason) Jackson, Amanda (Brad) Creech, Ashley Farley, Todd Farley, Rae Ann (Jamie) Stewart, Steven Ryan, Matthew Ryan; 6 great grandchildren, Brielle and Braydan Farley, Addison and Caiden Jackson, Xavier and Sara Lyn Hale; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Sunday (March 20) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday (March 21) in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Don Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Farley Cemetery on Watts Creek. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
