Kenneth A. Russell, 64, of Corbin, passed away at his home, Friday evening, December 18, 2015.
He was a member of New Hope Community Church and the Keavy D.A.V. Honor Guard, Chapter 158.
Born in Harlan, KY, November 15, 1951, he was preceded in death by his father, Hobert Russell and his mother, Helen Russell.
Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Karen Russell of Corbin; 2 sons: Kenneth and wife Nikki of Lexington; Ralph and wife Crystal of Corbin; 1 brother, Ronnie Russell and wife Beate of Gray; 6 grandchildren: Emma, Isaac, Nicolas, Noah, Jesse, Jillian; 7 nieces and 2 nephews; other family members and many friends, all to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Delmon Sizemore officiating. The D.A.V., Chapter 158 will confer military honors on Mr. Russell during the service. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery in Harlan at approximately 3:00 P.M. with military honors by the Harlan Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Ralph Russell, Kenneth Russell, Marc Russell, Curt Hall, J.B. Donahue, Michael Pace, and Matt Ditty.
The family of Kenneth Russell will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master St., Corbin.
