Judy Saylor

Judy Darlene Saylor, 71 of Coldiron passed away early Saturday morning of December 7, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Judy was born November 5, 1948 in Coldiron, KY to the late Lloyd and Juanita Hunley Stephens. She was retired from the Harlan Co. Clerks office after 24 years of service. She loved and adored her grandchildren, enjoyed shopping at Goodwill and the Methodist Store.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsel Saylor; brother, Gary Stephens; sister, Diane Crider.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Shannon Marcum; grandchildren, Cody and Hunter Marcum, Heather (Brandon) Williams; great grandson, Owen Williams; brothers, David (Paula) Stephens, Delbert (Karen) Stephens; sisters, Tina (Roger) Williams, Bobbie Joe (Jack) Maggard, Jelanda (Tracy) Ellifritz; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be Monday (Dec. 9) from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Carmical and Bro. Paul Saylor officiating.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday (Dec. 10) at the Laymon Cemetery in Coldiron, KY. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery just prior to service time.

Pallbearers will be Cody Marcum, Hunter Marcum, Brandon Williams, Jack Maggard, Braydon Shanks, and Caydon Shanks.
