Johnny B. Saylor, 79 of Lexington formerly of Coldiorn departed this world on Wednesday Aug. 4, 2016 to be with his Lord and Savior.
Johnny B. was born Sept. 26, 1936 in Harlan, KY to the late Jeff and Dora Brock Saylor. He was a retired repairman with National Electric Coil and believed in the Pentecostal Faith. He was a member of Man O’War Church of God in Lexington and proudly served his country as a Veteran of the United States Navy.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Gus Saylor, Sisters, Juanita Saylor and Doris Atwater; 2 nieces, Delores and Sandy Saylor; sister in law, Judy Saylor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Archie Hall Saylor; children, Michael (Stacey) Davis and Dwain Davis all of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Brittany and Katelyn Davis, Dylan and Austin Jenkins; 2 brothers, Gene (Kaye) Saylor of Sheridan, IL and Orville Saylor of Coldiron, KY; he leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 6 – 9 Sunday (Aug. 7) at the Molus Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday (Aug. 8) at the Molus Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ray Stepp and Rev. Ed Houston officiating.
Burial will follow in the Saylor Family Cemetery at Jesses Creek. Military Rites will be observed by the Harlan Honor Guard.
