Jason J. Collett

Jason J. Collett, 32 of Wallins, KY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017; born April 12, 1984 he lived in Wallins most of his life.

Jason had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He always wanted to put a smile on everyone’s face. He loved to make people laugh and family was most important to him. His favorite saying was “Jack of all trades, master of all”

Jason was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robison Saylor and his grandmother, Abbie Gail Collett.

Those left to mourn his passing include his parents, Vernon and Alice Collett of Wallins; his grandmother, Willie Jean Saylor of Wallins; his children, Eli Oscar Aiden Scearse and Ashlynn Aubrey Elizabeth Goins; girlfriend, Sondra Marie Rice of Barbourville; his brother, Vernon Jr and wife Krystal Collett of Wallins; his sister, Sarah and husband Matthew Tipton of Wallins; 2 nieces, Madisyn Tipton and Zoey Collett and 1 nephew, Gage Collett; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins all whom he loved very much; he leaves a host of family and friends. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Friday (Feb. 3) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday (Feb. 4) in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Laymon Cemetery at Laymon, KY.
