Janet Dean

Janet Muncy Dean, 56 of Stanfill, KY passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Rockcastle Co Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Janet was born June 29, 1965 in Harlan, KY to Wilson and Pricilla Muncy. She was retired from Goodwill Industries of Harlan, KY. Janet believed in the Baptist faith, and was a member of Liggett Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Pearl Dean, her daughter, April Dean, her mother-in-law, Mary Dean, and her father-in-law, Mearl Dean.
She is survived by her son, James Mearl Dean of Stanfill, KY, her sister, Felicia Christine Muncy of Stanfill, KY, her brothers, Arnold (Roxie) Muncy of Mary Alice, KY, Paul (Betty) Muncy of Crab Orchard, KY, James (Pat) Muncy of Bardo, KY, and her special friend, Sandy Moore of Dayton, Ohio. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday (May 7th) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Sunday, May 8th, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. John York and Rev. Carl Eldridge officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stanfill Cemetery in Stanfill, KY with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
