James Croushorn

September 26, 1933 — January 8, 2015

HARLAN-James Croushorn, 81 of Ivy Hill passed away Thursday Jan. 8, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Croushorn was born Sept. 26, 1933 in Harlan, KY to the late Earl and Louise Middleton Croushorn. He was the President of Croushorn Equipment Company of Harlan. He was longtime director at the Bank of Harlan and currently served as Director Emeritus. He was an avid outdoorsman and had attended the Harlan Christian Church.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Lewis Croushorn.

He is survived by his wife, Jean B. Croushorn of Ivy Hill; his sons, Earl (Susan) Croushorn  II of Baxter and John (Kim) Croushorn of Corbin; step children, Linda (Perry) Colliver of Mt. Sterling, KY, Dr. Jack (Amelia) Taylor of Richmond, KY, and Pat Taylor of Berea; grandchildren, Carla Croushorn of Corbin, Leslie (Justin) Taylor of Middlesboro, and James Croushorn  II of Baxter; step grandchildren, Kala Taylor of Knoxville, TN, Taylor (Katherine) Colliver of Louisville, KY and Brook Colliver of Mt. Sterling; 2 great grandchildren, Meredith and Madison Taylor of Middlesboro, KY.

Public Graveside services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday (Jan. 10) at the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY with the Rev. Dillard Stanley officiating.

The employees of Croushorn Equipment Company will serve as Pallbearers.

The Directors of the Bank of Harlan will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
