Jackie Clem McKenzie, 78, of Baxter passed away on Saturday morning of July 28, 2018 at the St. Joseph East, Lexington following a brief illness.
Jackie was born July 26, 1940 in Harlan Co., KY to the late Will and Daisy Clem. She was retired from Kroger Deli; she enjoyed her life and lived it to the fullest, and loved her family dearly.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George McKenzie; brothers, Jess Clem, Roy “Toad” Clem, Tommy Clem; sisters, Mary Helen “Doll” McClung, Delta “Beck” Grubbs, Geneva Jones, Faye Riner, Wilma June Clem, and Frankie Barrett.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Wilma K. (James) Brock of Lexington; granddaughter, Lindsay Brock and great granddaughter, Jacqueline Rose Brock; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday (July 30) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday (July 31) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Bolton and Bro. Greg York speaking.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY. with great nephews and friends serving as Pallbearers.
