Howard Ward

HARLAN-Howard Estil Ward of Knoxville, TN formerly of Harlan passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 at University of Tennessee Hospital. Mr. Ward was born Dec. 16, 1927 to the late James Mack and Delphia Ward.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by, two brothers, Robert and Edward Ward; one sister: Geneva Noe; one son: Howard Estil Ward Jr; One granddaughter: Pamela Denise Ward.
Surviving family includes his sister Pauline Adkisson of Corbin, Ky. his brother LeRoy Ward and wife, Barbara of Harlan, KY. Six children: Larry Wayne and Katy ward of Davisburg, MI , Richard L. and Linda Ward of Auburn Hills, MI, Gary L. Ward of Pattaya, Thailand, Sharon (Ward) and James Carmical of Atlanta, GA, Karen Ward of Kingsport, TN and Pamela (Ward) and John Smart of Atlanta, GA. He has 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home Rev. Paul White officiating.
Private burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith.
