Hona Jean Gray

   Hona Jean Gray, 67, passed away December 5, 2023 at her home in Harlan, Kentucky.

   Hona was born on January 4, 1956 in Clarlksburg, West Virginia to the late Robert and Hona Gray.

   She was orginally from West Union, West Virginia but moved to Harlan, Kentucky a month ago to spend her final days with her sister and granddaughter. She loved being a grandmother, crafting, and baking. She believed in the Baptist faith.

   She is survived by her sons, J.P. (Jolie) and Stephen Ray; grandchildren, Stacey, Jonathan, Josie, and Jewels; her brothers and sisters, Big Bob (Shirley) Gray, Theresa Holden, Neva (Casey) Dungan, Zula (Jodie) Reighard, William (Darlene) Gray, Lynn (William) Cox, and Willard (Connie) Gray. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives to mourn her passing.

   In keeping with her wishes, all services will be private.
