Homer Dwayne "Duker" Sullivan, 60 of Harlan passed away Thursday afternoon of June 4, 2020 at the Harlan ARH.
Duker was born August 10, 1959 in Harlan to the late Homer Sullivan and Omega Caldwell Sullivan Gross. He was a lifelong resident of Harlan and had worked for Ken Bowling Builders of Harlan for 45 years. He enjoyed woodworking.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Darrell "Slick" Sullivan, JC Sullivan, Marlie Sullivan, and Donald Gross; his sisters, Ruth Baker and Glenda Ball.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sherry R. Sullivan; sons, Macky and Patrick Sullivan; grandchildren, Hunter Jackson Dwayne Sullivan, Lexie Rayne Sullivan, Dalton Ledford, and Gabriel Ledford; sisters, Mavis Caldwell, Gail Greene, Reva Sullivan Farley, Fredia Williams, and Janice Middleton; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Memorial services for Duker will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, June 7, 2020 in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Combs officiating.
Visitation will be after 1:00 pm until service time Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
(CDC & State Guidelines of 33% of funeral home capacity and social distancing will be followed)
