Glenice "Gee Bee" Farmer

    Glenice "Gee Bee" Farmer, 77 of Harlan passed away Monday afternoon of January 22, 2024 at the Harlan ARH following a long illness. 

   "Gee Bee" was born October 25, 1946 in Harlan Co to the late Glenn and Ruth Jones Ramey. She was a retired from the Daniel Boone Clinic after 31 years of service as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she was best known for working many of the years with the late Dr. Fazel H. Ahmad. She believed in the Church of God faith.

   Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth A. Farmer, Sr; grandparents, Hubert & Roxie Jones.

   She is survived by her son, Ken Farmer, Jr and grandson, Kenneth "Dillon" Farmer.

   In keeping with her wishes a simple Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday (Jan. 25) at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel at Keith, KY with Rev. Buddy Simpson officiating. 

   She will then be laid to rest in the Resthaven Cemetery.
