Gladys Simpson

Gladys P. Simpson, 94 of Dayhoit passed away suddenly on the early morning of Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Harlan ARH.

Mrs. Simpson was born July 6, 1924 in Dayhoit, KY to the late Frank and Eliza Wolfe Pillion. She was a retired clerk for National Coil Company. She believed in the Baptist Faith and was an Avid UK Wildcat Fan.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Lee Simpson; her son, Del Ray Simpson; 1 grandson, Delmer Simpson, III; her siblings, Mossie Maggard, Ray Miller, Nell Ledger, and Stella Sutton.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Betty) Simpson; grandchildren, Gina (Jeff) Wilson, Craig (Cheri) Simpson, Jan (Tony) Abston, Chris (Michelle) Simpson, and Jackie (Charlie) Saylor; her great grandchildren; special niece, Joann Noe; she leaves a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends to mourn her passing.

In keeping with Gladys wishes a Private Graveside services will be held at the Resthaven Cemetery, Keith, KY.
