Harlan-Geraldine Simpson Noe, 82 of Harlan passed away on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014 at the Madison Health & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond following a long illness.
Geraldine was Nov. 13, 1931 in Harlan to the late Otis and Allie Asher Simpson. She was retired nurse at the Daniel Boone Clinic and Harlan ARH. She believed in the Baptist faith and attended the Calvary Baptist Church.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anderson B. Noe; brothers, Otis “Sonny” and Walter Simpson; sister, Juanita Simpson Hensley.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Andrea (Glenn) Whitaker of Richmond, KY; she leaves other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held 11-1:00 pm Thursday (Aug. 7) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Adkisson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Asher Cemetery on Watts Creek.
