Freda Davis

Freda Mae Davis a resident of Lejunior passed away from this life into the presence of our Lord on Saturday Evening of April 28, 2018 at the age of 94.

She was born to Bronson and Dola Mae Dingus Farley on April 18, 1924 in Harlan, KY. She attended the Kings Chapel Church at Lejunior.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Tom Davis; a newborn son, Willis Blaine Davis; her daughter, Starlett Gayle Moore; mother in law and father in law, Nancy and Hiram (Squire) Davis; brother, Clifford Farley; sister, Christine Sullivan; a son-in-law, James Moore.

Left to mourn her passing is her daughter, Tommie (Van) Rodgers; sister, Imogene Howard; granddaughters, Freda Kinney and Kristie Rodgers; grandson, Jamie (Lyndsey) Moore; seven great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and four great-great-great grandchildren. She leaves a host of beloved church family and many loving friends and family as well.

Visitation will be Wednesday (May 2) from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Kings Chapel Church at Lejunior, KY. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the church with Rev. Janice Fulkerson, Rev. James Sanders, and Rev. Roland Bo Lee officiating.

Burial will be 11:00 am Thursday (May 3) at the Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY.
