Frances Carol Williams

Frances Carol Williams, 81 of Harlan passed away peacefully on Thursday morning of February 16, 2023 at the Tri Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cumberland.
Carol was born August 26, 1941 in Harlan to the late John and Vera Strickland Lasley. She was a retired Registered Nurse, who enjoyed crafts, quilting, fishing and collecting rocks. She believed in the Baptist faith and was a member of Teetersville Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbra Jean Lasley, an infant brother; grandparents, Bessie and Arthur Strickland, Susan and Tom Lasley; grandson, William Brigmon, 1 stillborn grandchild; 2 stillborn great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, George Williams; children, Terri (Mark) Williams-Jarvis, Toni (Hiram Brock) Farmer Brock, Robert (Renee) Williams and Gina (Terry) Lutz; grandchildren, Michael Arvison, David Williams, Cristi Howard, Katie Willliams O'Neal and Brieona Williams; and 6 great grandchildren also survive.
In keeping with Carol's wishes a graveside service will be 11:00 am Tuesday (Feb. 21) at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Paul White officiating.  Burial will then follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
