Frances Williams

Frances Williams, 84 of Harlan passed away Saturday July 16, 2016 at the Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Frances was born March 10, 1932 in Cranks, KY to the late Burnam and Elizabeth Browning Skidmore. She was a homemaker and member of the Millers Chapel Methodist Church in Jonesville, VA where she has resided many years before coming back to Harlan.
Besides he parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Williams; brothers, Wilder, Luia, Howard, Claude, and Marvin Skidmore; sisters, Viola Barton and Laura Manning.
She is survived by her sisters, Emily S. Hembree of Harlan and Lydia Castillo of Michigan; she leaves several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew and caregiver, Joe Skidmore of Cranks to also mourn her passing.
A private viewing was held at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home and burial was held 1:00 pm Wednesday (July 20) at the Millers Chapel Cemetery in Jonesville, VA with Rev. Kyle Burnette officiating.
