Forest Lewis
December 30, 1940 — March 1, 2017
Forest Lewis, 76 of Loyall formerly of Big Laurel passed away March 1, 2017 at the Tri Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Forest was born December 30, 1940 on Alex Branch to the late Dewey and Mellie Lewis.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Lewis; sister, Ophie Jean Crase; brothers, Donald Lewis and Berry Lewis.
Those left to mourn his passing is his daughters, Melinda (Eddie) Johnson, Amanda Lewis; grandson, Roger Johnson whom he loved dearly; brothers Lloyd (Linda) Lewis, Paul (Faye) Lewis, Harrison (Janet) Lewis; special niece, Nancy Farley who helped us care for him while at home. Sister in laws, Rosalee Lewis, Sina Huff, Sarah (Fred) Blair, Shirley Miniard; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Special thanks and much appreciation to the Tri Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation for taking good care of him.
Visitation will be Friday (March 3) from 5 – 7:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday (March 4) in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Yonker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dewey Lewis Family Cemetery at Alex Branch, KY.
