Flora "Peachie" Eldridge

Flora Risden “Peachie” Eldridge, Corbin formerly of Cumberland, has gone on to meet her Lord and Savior, and joins her parents Mary and Ernest Risden, and her sisters, Virginia Ostrander and Jane Schultz, Flora passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Christian Health Center in Corbin at the age of 76.

She was born August 13, 1942 in Cumberland and was a member of the First Christian Church of Cumberland. She was a homemaker, member of the Eastern Star, and volunteer for the Tri City Rescue Squad. She enjoyed watching her beloved Kentucky Wildcats.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Ann Smithers of Byrdstown, TN and son, James Ernest Creech of Erwin, TN; 3 sisters, her twin Lora Belle Click of Florissant, MO, Jo Ann Collett of New Tazewell, TN and Billie Jean Ledford of Jacksboro, TN; 1 brother, Ernest Risden, Jr of Clermont, FL and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Saturday (Sept. 22) at the Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY, with Rev. Charles Morris officiating. She will then be laid to rest beside of her beloved parents.

Pallbearers will be Creed Collett, Jon Collett, Glenn Ernest Barker, Josh Smith, Bradley Creech, Tommy Briest, Tyler Reffitt, David Beckett, Patrick Click, Aaron McKnight, Brandon McKnight.
