Ethel Hightower

Ethel Mae (Laws) Jones Hightower, 79 of Rosspoint passed away Sunday June 2, 2013 at her home with family by her bedside.
Ethel was born May 30, 1934 at Brookside, KY to the late Robert and Nancy Blakely Laws. She was a homemaker and quilt maker, a devoted mother and faithful Christian woman who believed in the Church of God faith.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by several siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Lucille (Victor) Farmer of Rosspoint; 2 sons, Dennis R. Jones of Rosspoint and David (Libby) Jones of Baxter; 2 grandchildren, Misti (Jeremy) Buckman of Louisville and Kasey Jones of Baxter; 1 great granddaughter, Brinley of Louisville; 1 sister, Mary Smallwood of Jonesville, VA; she leaves a host of nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Wednesday June 5, 2013 from 5 until 8:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Thursday in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Keith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery.
