Ernest Ray Hamilton, 83, of Upper Elcomb, Harlan, Kentucky died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Harlan Appalachian Region Hospital. Born April 30, 1933 in Barbourville, Kentucky, he was son of the late Harve and Sallie Hamilton. He was a retired machinist with R & J Tool and Dye, he attended the Loyall First Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are his wife Irene Hamilton of Elcomb; three step children, Teddy Cox of Harlan, Rick Cox of Harlan, and Debra King of Loyall; and one brother, Ronnie Hamilton of Harlan.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Sunday July 17, 2016 at the Loyall First Pentecostal Church with Rev. Joe King, Rev. Tommy Vannetter, and Rev. Bryant Massingale officiating. Music will be by Mrs. Jo Ann Napier.
