Elizabeth Jean Moore

Elizabeth Jean Hall Moore, 85 of Grays Knob passed away peacefully at 3:23 am on Tuesday Dec. 10, 2013 at the Harlan ARH with her family by her side.

Mrs. Moore was born Nov. 18, 1928 in Clairfield TN, to the late Charley and Anna Lee Hall; she had lived at Grays Knob for over 80 years. She was a Christian woman and devoted housewife.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Moore, Jr; 4 brothers, John, Kenneth, Raymond and Emerson Hall.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her 5 children, Ricky Moore of Grays Knob, KY, Ruth Clem of Grays Knob, Brenda (Roy) Davis of Tazewell, TN, Wayne (Dewana) Moore of Nolansburg, KY, David (Lynn) Moore of Palatka, FL; 7 grandchildren, Betty Jean (Duane) Legan of Cary, NC, Heath (Natasha) Clem of Coldiron, Jeremy (Wendy) Clem of Rosspoint, Shanda Moore of Nolansburg, Tara Jones of Putney, Miranda Snow (Brandon) Moore-Payne of Harlan, Lindsey (Chris) Moore-Capps of Colorado Springs; She also is survived by 10 great grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Legan of Cary, NC, Brittany and Cameron Clem of Coalgood, Lily, Dylan, and Maggie Clem of Rosspoint, Tatum Ophelia Payne of Harlan, Zoe Christine Jones and Paislee Jade Middleton of Putney. She is survived by 2 brothers, Franklin (Phyllis) Hall of Pineville, KY and Donald (Peggy) Hall of Cumberland Furnace, TN; 2 sisters, Anna Strickland of Attalla, AL and Janice Alford of Huber Heights, OH. A special friend, Charles (Debbie) Clem of Baxter.

Visitation will be Saturday Dec. 14, 2013 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Craig, Sr officiating.

Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Cemetery, Pineville, KY with family members serving as pallbearers.
