Elizabeth Ann Turner Heck, 59, of Harlan, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.  Ann was a native of Big Laurel, Kentucky.  She was a devoted member and former Sunday School teacher at the Harlan United Methodist Church.  She worked at Kentucky Mine Supply for 34 years; a Weight Watcher Leader for 36 years; and a Mary Kay beauty consultant for 30 years.  Ann was an active member of the Harlan Lions Club.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents:  Henry and Della Turner, Brown and Gladys Irvin, and George Lumpkins; father:  David Turner; step-father:  Henry Miniard; and brother-in-law: Elmer Couch.

Surviving are her husband of 26 years, Bobby Heck; son, Jonathan Heck; step-daughter, Dolly (Robert) Gregory; granddaughter, Melanie Gregory; mother, Wylene Miniard; brother, David (Liudmila) Turner of Lexington, KY; sisters, Katrina (Randy) Scott of Knoxville, TN, DeRhonda (Mike) Hartsock, of Lexington, KY, Bobbie (Javaid) Masoud, of St. Paul, MN, Gladys (Marcus) Barnett, of Lexington, KY, and Connie (Robert) Passman of Columbia, MD;  nieces and nephews:  Stephanie, Daniel, Amanda, Jeremy, Allie, Zahra, Evan, Ayasha, Annie, and Hannah; and great niece and nephews:  Caleb, Olivia, and Aiden.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014, starting at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be conducted Sunday, April 13, 2014, at 1:00 PM at the Turner Cemetery at Rockhouse (Big Laurel), KY.  Please meet at the funeral home by 12:00 PM.  The Reverends Kyle Burnett and Gene Harris will officiate.  Evan Barnett, Jeremy Barnett, Daniel Belcher, Caleb Brian, Robert Gregory, Thomas Heck, Floyd Turner and Christopher White will serve as Pallbearers.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Fazel Ahmad, Marcus Barnett, Mark Bushnell, Mike Hartsock, Javaid Masoud, Bob Passman, Randy Scott, and Chuck Farley.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge, at the University of Kentucky, 1500 College Way, Lexington, KY  40502.
