Elizabeth Ann Cornett, age 55, of London, KY, passed away Tue Aug 12, 2014, in the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born on February 24, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elijah Buell and Joyce Ann Osborne Buell, who survives of Wallins Creek. She is also survived by her husband: Carl Cornett of London, one son: Keston Sturgill of London, two brothers: Elijah Buell, Jr. of Cumberland and Michael Buell of Wallins Creek, one granddaughter: Kaylee Sue Sturgill, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
She was a Finance Officer for the Harlan County Board of Education and a member of the Gulston Church of God in Harlan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel in London, KY with Ronnie Doyle, Steve Mullins and Freeman Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily, KY.
The family will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Thursday.
