Elizabeth Chadwell

Elizabeth Alloway Chadwell was born on May 16, 1934 in Madisonville, Kentucky to the late Frank and Elizabeth Dann Alloway, passed away on Sunday Evening of August 12, 2018 in Harlan at the age of 84.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Ivan Chadwell; brothers, Frank Alloway, Jr.  of Stamping Ground, Kentucky and Paul Alloway of Dallas, Texas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her Brother Sam Alloway of Harlan, Kentucky, two daughters Jennifer Band,  Leslie Sheffield and husband Corey; two granddaughters Erin Elizabeth Band and Campbell Grace Sheffield;  niece Rhonda Alloway Gaines and husband Sonny Gaines; numerous other nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth grew up in Harlan, KY and went to Harlan High School. Elizabeth traveled with her family to Texas and returned to Kentucky where she has made Harlan her home.

Elizabeth was a home maker and helped Lester with the building of custom homes in the Dallas, Texas area. Elizabeth also enjoyed making flowers and was a florist.

A private burial was held at the Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY.
