Edna Mcdaniel

Edna Ann McDaniel, 83 of Harlan passed away Tuesday afternoon of September 20, 2022 at her home.
Edna was born July 24, 1939 in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin to the late Paul and Lottie Wenski. She was a retired Special Education & Art Teacher with the Harlan Co. Board of Education having taught at Holmes Mill and Black Mountain Elementary Schools. She was a Veteran of the United States Navy and believed in the Baptist Faith.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar McDaniel; brothers, Ervin and Sylvester "Si" Wenski.
She is survived by her 2 children, Todd Graves and Susan Graves; grandchildren, Michael (Hannah) Adams, Anna Graves, Ashley (Franklin) Baldwin, and Erin Graves; great grandchildren, Brayden and Canaan; special step daughter, Brenda Lewis; special sister in law, Mickey Downs.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Saturday (Sept. 24) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Sean Daniels officiating. Military Honors will be observed by the Harlan Honor Guard.
