Douglas Loyd Wilson, 60 of Harlan died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Chicago, IL on February 11, 1956 he was son of the late Loyd and Myrtle Wilson.
Surviving are his wife, Rachel Kinder Wilson; children, Tosha (Ben) Day, Roger Allen Lee Kinder, grandchildren, Erica Day, and Brianna Day; brothers, Bobby Dale (Bertha) Wilson, Danny Wilson, and Harold Wilson; sister, Conya Wilson; best friends, Douglas Middleton and Bo Sargent; brother-in-law, Robert Kinder and John Joseph; and sister-in-law, Joanne Joseph.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home. The Rev. Jesse Kinder will be officiating the services.
Interment will follow the funeral in the Wilson Cemetery at Straight Creek, Bledsoe, Kentucky.
