Douglas Brock

Douglas Earl Brock, 68 Ages passed away Wednesday Nov. 13, 2013 at the Harlan ARH.

Doug was born in Harlan, KY to the late Dewey and Minnie Stokes Brock. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Manalapan Mining Co. He was a member and deacon of Coxton Baptist Church.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lewis, Charlie, and Eugene Brock; sister, Betty Nolan.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Pauline Saylor Brock of Ages; sons, Chad (Lauren) Brock of Ages, Brian (Paula) Brock of Catrons Creek; daughter, Christina Lamb of Cotes; grandchildren who he thought the world of , Chad Hunter Brock, Conner Brock, Meredith Mefford, Amanda Mott, Mikey Lamb, Jonathon Gibson, and Christopher Gibson; 1 brother, David Eerk Brock of Ages; 1 sister, Mary Witte of Dartmont; he leaves several nieces and nephews including 3 special, Connie Saylor, Danny Hickson and Paul Nolan.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 7:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Adkisson and Rev. Danny McCreary officiating.

Family and friends are asked to meet by 12:50 pm for a 1:00 pm Graveside service on Saturday Nov. 16, 2013 at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Danny Hickson, Jimmy Saylor, Roger Dillon, Bobby Middleton, Joe Middleton, and Tom Parker.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Chad Hunter Brock, Conner Brock, and Mikey Lamb.
