Donna Sue Hunter Smith, 50 of Baxter, Kentucky died Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her residence. Born in Pineville, Kentucky, Donna was a retired RN having worked 25 years in the Lifecare Center in Elizabethton, TN. Donna believed in the Baptist faith, she was an avid gardener, and animal lover as well as loving sports.
Preceding her in death was her father Ed Hunter of Baxter, KY. Surviving are her Mother, Liz Hunter of Baxter, KY; Children, Dylan Smith of Lexington, KY and Preston Smith of Charlotte, NC; the Love of her Life and Companion, John Smith and his daughter Jacquelyn Shea and grandson John Ryan Jackson of Corbin, KY; brother, Charles (Vickie) Hunter of Smyrna, TN; and sisters, Brenda (Eddie) Metcalf of Loyall, KY and Linda (Clint) Hoskins of Kannapolis, NC.
Also surviving are nieces and nephews Ashley Hunter, Emily McKee, Sumer Lee Howard, Justin Hoskins, Jordan Hoskins, and Jacob Hoskins.
