Donald Poindexter

Donald Eugene Poindexter, 59 of the Fairview community of Harlan passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at his home.

Donny was born January 26, 1963 in Harlan to Ruth Alice Shepherd Poindexter and the late Billy Poindexter. He was a former machinist.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth Alice Poindexter; his wife, Misty Renee Poindexter; his son, Donald Eugene Poindexter, Jr; sisters, Terri (Mark) Jarvis, Amy Bynum, and Anita (Richard) Middleton; His nieces and nephews Melissa Poindexter, Cythia Sossi, Elijah, Isaiah, Alyssa, Xavier, Alaina, Kyler, and Kaleb Mclendon, Adrian, Chase and DJ Hatchett, and great nieces Kairi Nelson, Lyra Tucker and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Saturday (April 30) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
