Donald Paul Carroll

   Donald “Donnie Paul” Carroll, 74, of Wallins passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday morning of January 8, 2024 at his home, following a brief illness.  

   Best known as the owner and operator of Don’s Seamless Gutters, he also carries a substantial history of being an underground coal miner. 

   He is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Vestie Carroll, his previous wife of 16 years, Thelma Carroll, his mother, Mary Cinnamon, dad, Buck Young, a brother, Jack Carroll, and sisters, Bernice Copeland, Lucile Glaser, Beada Wazny and Helen Collins.

   He is survived by his children - Dana Sizemore, Becky (Darrell) Wilson, Crissy (Jamie) Johnson, Ashley (Jeff) Cole; grandchildren - Aaron (Beth) Johnson, Austin (Ayla) Adams, Whitney Wilson (Josh Turner), Alyssa Adams, Tyler Cole, Trenton Cole, Braylie Wilson and Brylie Wilson; great-grandchildren - Jeremiah Stewart, Easton Johnson, Raylynn Blevins and Brynlee Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews. 

   A special thank you from the family to his Hospice team, Tiffany (Tina) Gray, Shonna Asher and Regina Hatfield. 

   The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 11 from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm with the funeral to following at 7:00  pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Roland "Bo" Lee officiating.

    Burial will be at Park Howard Cemetery in Wallins, KY on Friday, January 12 at 11:00 am. 

   Pallbearers will be Darrell Wilson, Jamie Johnson, Jeff Cole, Aaron Johnson, Austin Adams, Tyler Cole, Trenton Cole, and Josh Turner.
