Dennis Johnson

Dennis Clark Johnson, 70 of Harlan passed away Friday morning of October 21, 2022 at the Harlan ARH.
Dennis was born December 16, 1951 in Baxter, KY to the late Rex and Myrtle Beatrice Pendleton Johnson. He was a retired coal miner with 26 years underground as a certified electrician and repairman. After retiring from the mines he was employed at Saylor Electric for 10 years. He was a ordained minister of the Gospel and member of the Riverside Baptist Church. He was proud to be a amateur radio operator.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Stewart; brother, Larry Johnson; infant brother, Fred Johnson; and the mother of his children, Karen Reed.
He is survived by his children, Katrina Farmer, Rachel (Travis) Baker and Sabrina Asher; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Gary, Barry, Harry and Cary Johnson; sisters, Lana Saylor, Diana Kelly, Kathy Burgan, and Bettina Fuson; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday (Oct. 25) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Wednesday (Oct. 26) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Heck officiating.
Burial will follow in the Shoemaker Cemetery at Keith, KY with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
