Delores Osborne

Delores Osborne, 72 of Cawood, Kentucky died Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.  She was born in Cawood, Kentucky November 10, 1944 daughter of the late Oscar and Josie Moore.

Delores was a homemaker and loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was a “granny” to many of the church kids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Osborne.

Surviving are her children, Judy (John) Swanson of Cawood and Ralph E (Brenda) Osborne of Bledsoe; brothers, Herman (Nancy) Moore of Bob Creek, Charlie (Ruth) Moore of Dryden, VA; Bill (Sue) Moore of Jonesville, VA, Leroy Moore of Galion, OH, and James Oscar Moore of NC; and sisters, Eula Dockery of Herndon, KY, Bernice Morgan of Galion, OH, and Rosie (Clyde) Bates of Galion, OH.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Victoria (Kris) Cox, and John Ben (Laura) Swanson; honorary grandchildren, Bubby Grubbs and Heather Myers; great-grandchildren, Drew, Mia, Aiden, and Scarlett; and special friends, Marie Burkhart, Della Stewart, Sharon Dean, and Maxine Stewart.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 5:00 – 10:00 PM in the Cawood Church of God Mountain Assembly.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Cawood Church of God Mountain Assembly.  Reverends Franklin Stewart and Spencer Burkhart will officiate the services.

Interment will follow the funeral in the Fields Cemetery at Cawood, Kentucky.  Bubby Grubbs, James Grubbs, Rick Burkhart, Hunter Burkhart, Brian Hensley, and Charlie Bill Moore will serve as pallbearers.
