Deerl Brock

Deerl (Junior) Brock 80, of Cottontown TN, formerly of Wallins KY went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2013 at Skyline Medical Hospital in Nashville TN. He was born May 22, 1932 in Wallins.
He worked at Ford Motor Co in Harlan KY and Highlift in Cincinnati OH. He was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by parents, Carlo and Vina (Blanton) Brock, Brother, Sherman Brock, and sisters, Nell Vineyard, Ada Shakelford and Elsie Noe.
Survivors include , daughters, Donna (Mike) Schwarberg of Villa Hills Ky, Phyllis (Jim) Martin of Erlanger KY, Debbie (Bill) Vanover of Baxter Ky, Tammy (Marvin) Babb of Watauga TX, Lisa (Grady Herzog) Piekarski of Ft Worth TX; sons, Steve (Mary) Brock of Cottontown TN, Nelson Short of Speedwell TN, and Deerl Brock Jr of Bromley KY; Sisters, Jacqueline Unthank of Bromley KY and Gerry (Alton) Johnson of Ludlow Ky; he had 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be Monday April 8, 2013 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 on Monday April 8, 2013 in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones with Rev. Mike Brantley officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Elsie Short.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Keith, KY.
