Danny Estes
June 2, 1951 — July 26, 2013
Danny Edward Estes, 62 of Norwood, OH formerly of Harlan passed away on Friday July 26, 2013 at the Ft. Thomas VA Community Living Center in Ft. Thomas, KY.
Danny was a Veteran of the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Estes, Jr and Betty Shell Estes.
He is survived by his sister, Ina Lynn (Jerry) Owens of Loyall; 3 aunts, Glenna (Cecil) Owensby of Knoxville, TN, Faye (Arnold) Lewis of Kingsport, TN, and Mary Johnson of Tremont, KY; 1 uncle, Pat Johnson of Cincinnati, OH and a cousin, Marvin Myers, Jr of Tazewell, TN; 2 dear friends, Willie Jessie and Linda Wilson both of Norwood, OH; he leaves several cousins and other relatives to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm Tuesday July 30, 2013at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Darlene Roberts officiating.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday July 31, 2013 at the Resthaven Cemetery with Military Rites being observed by the Harlan Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be the Harlan Honor Guard.
