Daniel Wilson

Daniel Wilson, known to many as Ol Chap, 88 of Baxter, KY passed away Sunday evening of May 14, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
Dan was born June 7, 1934 in Helton, KY to the late Bev and Polly Fultz Wilson. He had worked for the State Highway department. He enjoyed hunting, being in the woods and working in the garden.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Marilyn Mosley Wilson; his brother, Henry Murph Wilson; 2 half brothers, Paul and Elbert Fultz; 1 half sister, Rose Wilson Helton.
He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Jesse (Brenda) Wilson of Berea, Mack (Melissa) Wilson of Baxter, Wanda Wilson of Wallins, Ted (Glenda) Wilson of Wallins; he was Papa Dan to, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday (May 17) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, Harlan
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday (May 18) at the Upper Beechfork Methodist Church at Helton, KY with Rev. Steve Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mosley Family Cemetery in Mozelle, KY. where he will be laid to rest beside of his beloved wife, Marilyn.
