Christy Creech

Christy Jewel Creech, 40 of Bledsoe, KY passed away Sunday evening of March 6, 2022 along with her husband Matt from injuries sustained in an ATV accident at the Harlan ARH.
Christy was born December 23, 1981 in Linton, IN to the Charlotte Slusher Roark and the late Marvin Roark. She was employed by Smithfield Foods as a meat packer. She loved fishing with her husband the great outdoors and having an all year long tan, but nothing was more important than her daughter’s.  They were her life.  She believed in the Pentecostal faith and attended the House of Mercy in Wallins.
Besides her father she is preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Ryan Creech; brother, Matthew Roark; grandparents, John & Lillian Slusher and Betty Loney and Marvin Roark.
She is survived by her daughters, Madison Roark and Erica Li Curry; her mother, Charlotte Roark all of Bledsoe, KY; her brother, Dennie Roark of Wallins; she leaves a host of other family members and many friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday (March 10) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Joint funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday (March 11) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Toner officiating.
Burial will follow in the Creech Cemetery in Bledsoe, KY. with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
