Charlene Jones

Charlene Jones, 71 of Harlan passed away Thursday afternoon of August 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Charlene was born September 25, 1949 in Bell Co., Ky to the late Ray and Margaret Young Johnson. She was a homemaker.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ira Ray Johnson and Stevie Johnson; sisters, Barbara Young and Georgia Johnson.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Leroy Jones of Harlan; children, Mike (Rose) Jones, Roy (Betty) Jones, Tammy (Mike) Long, Amanda (Brandon) Cox, and Brandon Jones; grandchildren, Ashley Willis, Christina Jones, Racheal Jones, Michael Jones, Brittany Jones, Desiree Jones, Leroy Jones, Susan Jones, Katelyn Jones, Michael Long, Hannah Jones, Kiley Baker, and Brandon Jones; 16 great grandchildren; her brother, Boyd Johnson; sister, Teresa Johnson; special friends, Bernice Rains and Alice Jones Sargent; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday (Aug. 15) at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday (Aug. 16) in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Bryant officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, Ky.
Pallbearers will Leroy Jones, Roy Jones, Brandon Jones, Brandon Cox, Michael Long, and Mike Jones.
