Carolyn Howard Slusher

Carolyn Howard Slusher, 73 of Wallins passed away Monday evening of July 5, 2021 at the Harlan ARH.
Carolyn was born Friday July 18, 1947 in Detroit, MI to the late Charles and Ruby Wilkes Slusher. She was the retired Front Desk Manager for The Comfort Inn of Harlan. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren, and working puzzles on her Kindle.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Jerry Howard and her 2nd husband, John Slusher.
She is survived by her children, Kim Howard (Jerry) Hooten of Wallins, KY, and Eddie (Sherry) Howard of Berea, KY; grandchildren, Randall (Kristin) Howard, Alex Howard, Stephanie Howard and their mother Kathy Howard, Katie Smith, Jonah Smith, and Daniel Wall; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Dave (Nancy) Slusher of Kentucky; sisters, Beverly (Chester) Lankford of Rio Vista, KY, and Katie Nunn of London; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Friday (July 9) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Burial will be 11:00 am Saturday (July 10) at the Park Howard Cemetery in Wallins, KY with Grandchildren serving as Pallbearers. (Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:20 am to go in procession to the cemetery)
