Carolyn Fugate

Carolyn Boyer Fugate, 83 of Coldiron, KY passed away Thursday evening of June 27, 2024 at the Harlan ARH following a long illness.

Carolyn was born March 5, 1941 in Stearns, KY to the late Arthur Boyer and Dora Vaughn Boyer. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Delbert Fugate, Sr.; brothers, Ted, Paul, Silas, and Arthur Boyer, Jr; sisters, Virginia Huning, Vivian Still and Lillian Gosney.

She is survived by her children, Yvonne (Mike) Johnson, Paul (Kristal) Fugate, Jr, and Glenn (Tessa) Fugate; grandchildren, Brandi Johnson, Shaun (Brittany) Johnson, David Paul Fugate, and Oliva Fugate; great children, Chase Shipman and Adessa Johnson; brother, Leon Boyer; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives to mourn her passing.

Graveside services will be 12:00 pm Tuesday (July 2) at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Carl Eldridge officiating.

Burial will then follow in the Resthaven Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside of her beloved husband, Paul, Sr.
