Carl (Rhino) Hensley

Carl Ed (Rhino) Hensley, 56 passed away Wednesday afternoon of October 19, 2022 at the Harlan ARH.
Carl was born February 4, 1966 in Harlan to the late Harry King "Pete" Hensley and Virgie Napier Hensley. He enjoyed being in the mountains, hunting, and fishing; if you knew Carl, you knew he always had a good story to tell. He was a member of the Sunshine Fire Department and Pansy Christian Church.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his mamaw, Hazel Napier; his sister, Sharon Hensley Hubbard; his nephews, John Hubbard, Angel and Carter Jackson.
He is survived by his sisters, Lane Hensley, Roxie (Arnold) Muncy, Tammy Hensley Smith, and Linda Hensley; very special family friend, Shirley Leitch; best friend who was like a brother to Carl, Russell Sutherby; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday (Oct. 23) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday (Oct. 24) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Roark officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stanfill Cemetery at Stanfill, KY. Pallbearers will be Billy Callahan, Arnold Muncy, Steve Wilburn, Mearl Dean, Wayne Bargo, Anthony Seals and Russell Sutherby.
