Byrd Rowe

Byrd Rowe, 79 of Baxter passed away on Thursday April 3, 2014 at his home following a long illness.

Byrd was born in Harlan, KY to the late Marion and Ellen Rowe. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Baxter and retired with 35 years with the Teamsters Local 63 in Los Angeles, California. Byrd was a Godly, Kind and Humble man.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Toney and Ona Rowe Modic; cousins, Clyde & Dorothy Tolliver Maggard.

He is survived by his brother, James W. Rowe of Harlan; great nephews, David B. Toney, Darrin Toney, great niece, Jolene Toney; nephew, George D. and Bethany Smith Maggard; great nephew, Jacob A. Maggard; cousins, Mona Burkhart Rowe, Pete and Valerie Rowe, Ruby Rowe Bennett, Vicki Coots, Sheila Burkhart, Mike Rowe, Joshua Rowe, Rachael Rowe, Anthony and Billie Rowe, Derrick and Aaron Rowe, Robert and Angela Roselieb, Robbie Roselieb, Ruth Mossing, Rick Mossing, Tommy Destella, Lisa Destella, Ginger Wood; Jeff, Susan, Daniel, and Kate Modic. He leaves his Brothers and Sisters of The Church of Jesus Christ, as well as many friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be 5 until 7:00 pm Saturday April 5, 2014 at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be Private Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Resthaven Cemetery, Keith, KY.
