Bobby Ray Muncy, 73 of Clovertown passed away Monday afternoon of March 23, 2020 at the Claiborne Co. Hospital in Tazewell, TN.
Bobby was born May 8, 1946 to the late Henry Muncy and Helen Laws Dickey. He was a retired coal miner and painter. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Lee Muncy; wife, Sharon Muncy.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Muncy of Lexington; grandchildren, Jamel, Jacob, and Malcolm Muncy; great grandchildren, Julian, Jacobi, Elsee, and Karmah; sisters, Betty (Gene) Douglas of Harlan, and Bessie Saylor of Wynne, Arkansas; special niece, Rhena Douglas and special great niece, Savanna Wynn; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn his passing.
Due to Governor Andy Beshear's Executive Order, given on March 17, 2020, and based on CDC recommendations to decrease the spread of COVID-19, all services for Bobby Ray Muncy will be private. Rev. Roland “Bo” Lee will officate the services.
His services will be on Facebook Live (Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home page) at 1:00 Saturday, March 28, 2020
Cremation will follow the services.
