Binny Bennett

Binny Ray Bennett, 69 of Evarts passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Harlan ARH.
Binny was born Aug. 11, 1946 in Evarts, KY to the late Ben and Evline Hembree Bennett. He was a retired Coal miner and steal worker, and believed in the Baptist faith.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by, brother, Cecil Bennett; sisters, Virginia Owens, Bobby Cox, and Maggie Smith; 2 grandchildren, Evline Thomas and Megan Dean.
He is survived by his children, Toddy Smalley of Indiana, Joyce Combs of Evarts, Trish Ann Bennett, Jennifer Bennett, Wendy Bennett, Binny Bennett all of Indiana, Amanda Simpson of Cawood, Missy Thomas of Evarts, and Tammy Thomas of Cranks; brothers, Kenneth (Ann) Bennett of Evarts, Roger (Linda) Bennett of Indiana, Silas (Linda) Bennett of Indiana, Vernon (Billie) Bennett of Evarts, Bruce (Patsy) Bennett of Evarts, and James (Joanne) Bennett of Tremont; sisters, Brenda Betancourt of Indiana, Cynda (Jake) Perkins of Loyall, and Vicky (Mike) Greenway of Florida; he leaves several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to mourn his passing.
Memorial services will be 5:00 pm Thursday (June 23) at the North Evarts Baptist Church with the Rev. David Napier and Rev. Tommy Saylor officiating.
