Bill L. Osborne, 78 of Wallins passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Harlan ARH while surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born April 5, 1939 in Wallins to the late Robert Lee and Marie Osborne. He attended the Wallins Baptist Church.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Pace; and 3 infant siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Shirley Saylor Osborne; daughter, Sherry (Tommy) Webb; step daughter, Kelly (Tim) Griffey; stepsons, Chuck Howard and John (Jill) Ball; grandchildren, Keith Brewer, Misty Maggard, Brandon Webb, Crissie Howard, Leslie Shell, and Zach Ball; great grandchildren, Asariah and Rylie Maggard, Caleb and Kailyn Brewer, Braylon Webb; siblings, Eugene (Duke) Osborne, Betty Goodman, Pansy Walden, Wanda Villarreal, Patty Miller; special brother-in-law, Leroy Saylor, special cousin, Angie Mills Peace, special nephews, Jack (Patty) Simpson and Leroy (Tina) Saylor, Jr. special neighbors, Bill & Sue Lee; special and dear friends, Bill Shackleford, Freddie Brock, Joseph & Sue Reams; he leaves behind other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Wednesday (Aug. 30) from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Freeman Clark officiating.
Burial will be 11:00 am Thursday (Aug. 31) at the Resthaven Cemetery in Keith. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 to proceed to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Webb, Tim Griffey, Keith Brewer, Leroy Saylor, Jr, Jack Simpson, and Leslie Shell.
