Bernice Goins Buchanan

 Bernice Goins Buchanan, 73 of Wallins, KY passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at the home of her daughter in Murfreesboro, TN. 

 Bernice was born October 10, 1951 in Wallins to the late George and Ethel Nolan Goins. She was retired from the printing industry and was a member of the Coldiron Church of God. She enjoyed singing, dancing and doing Karaoke.

 She is survived by her husband, Bill Buchanan; her children, Kathy (Mark) Nemec and Bill (Carmen) Buchanan; special daughter, Janet Meadows; grandchildren, Nick (Cara), Nathanial, Carlos, Zoey, Tony, Luke, Dakota and Justin; great grandchildren, Aminah and Zayden; siblings, Ronnie Goins (late wife Dottie Goins), JoAnne Goins, George (Denise) Goins and Rick (Alexandria) Goins; her uncle, Murphy (Kaye) Nolan; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives including many cousins "too many to list" for whom each one of them held a special place in her heart.

 Visitation will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Thursday (Dec. 12) at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. 3rd Street, Harlan, KY 40831. 

 Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm Thursday (Dec. 12) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Carmical and Bro. Donnie Fisher officiating. 

 Burial will follow in the Goins Cemetery at Happy Top in Wallins with Grandsons serving as Pallbearers.

 "If you knew Bernice, you knew her love for Elvis, so the family is asking everyone to wear your favorite Elvis shirt to the funeral home, don't have one, they ask that you come casual, per Bernice she didn't want no suits at her funeral."
