Bernetta Joyce Morales

Bernetta Joyce Morales, 69 of Sawbriar, KY passed away Thursday morning of October 6, 2022 at the Harlan ARH.
Joyce was born February 15, 1953 to the late Jack L. and Thelma Simpson. She was a caregiver for several years.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Fidel "RC Man" Morales.
She is survived by her son, Erik Morales of Harlan, KY; step children, Fidel (Deanna) Morales of Tremont, KY, Christy (Chris) Irvin of London, KY, Tony (Angie) Morales of Corbin, KY; siblings, Patty (Scotty) Underwood of Lampasas, TX; Carol (Eddie) Sparks of Evarts, KY, Jack (Patty) Simpson of Sawbriar, KY, Beth (Josh) Halstead of Hendersonville, TN, Johnny Simpson of Harlan, KY and Robert (April) Simpson of Wallins, KY.; special grandchildren, Keonna and Adaleigh Morales of Kenvir; step grandchildren, Jasmine Morales, Kayla and Jared Ellison, Dakota and Tiffany Irvin; special lil friend, Jessica Grace Farley; special friend who was like a sister, Linda Hatfield; mother of her grandchildren, Rachel Kelly; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends are left to mourn her passing, including her faithful companion and fur baby, "Gizmo"
In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen and a Private family gathering will be held 5-7 Tuesday (Oct. 11) at the home of her brother, Jack Simpson in Sawbriar.
