Anna Wyatt
June 28, 1934 — June 29, 2013
Anna “Teetle” Wyatt, 79 of Baxter passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family, after a valiant fight with cancer.
She was born in Loyall, KY to the late Viola and Willard “Buck” Thomas. Anna worked at Bellsouth until becoming a full time mother. She also owned a business in Harlan. She was a natural caregiver and readily took care of others with little regard to herself.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John “JW” Wyatt.
Left to mourn her passing is her daughter, Tracy Wyatt Whitaker, of Baxter and son Gregory Wyatt of Seattle, WA; grandson, Johnathan Powers and special friend, Alisha Flannery of Richmond; granddaughter, Anna Whitaker of Baxter; great granddaughter, Rylee Ann Powers; two sisters, Laurawilla Herren of Loyall and Billie Rhea Zimmerman of Connecticut; one brother, Danny Thomas of Louisville; she leaves a host of nieces and nephews also to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6:30 until 8:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Memorial services will follow at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones with Rev. Charles Morris officiating.
There will be no graveside services held due to Mrs. Wyatt’s wish to donate her body to medical research so that future lives might be saved.
