Amy Nicole Jones Steele

Amy Nicole Jones Steele, 40 of Evarts, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Harlan ARH following a brief illness. 

Amy was born on July 22, 1984 in Harlan, Kentucky to James Daniel and Lisa Ann Keith Jones. She was a lifelong resident of Harlan County and believed in the Holiness faith. Amy was a homemaker, who enjoyed eating out, music, wood crafts, and painting. 

Amy is preceded in death by her grandparents; Bill and Della Keith and Harold Jones, her uncle, Bill Duff, and cousin, Dewayne Jones.

She is survived by her parents; James Daniel Jones and Lisa Ann Keith Jones, her children; Vanessa Branson, James Branson, Cody Steele, Ava Steele, and Shavnessi North, her grandmother, Elsie Jones, her sister, Amber Turner, and uncle, David Long. She also leaves behind a host of other uncles, aunts, relatives, and friends to mourn her passing. 

Visitation will be Thursday (Feb. 27) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Friday (Feb. 28) at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Vonny Jones and Rev. Allen Jones officiating. 

Burial will follow the funeral services on Friday (Feb. 28) at Harlan County Memorial Gardens.
